Lightnet AI & Memory Notice

Version: Launch 1.0 · Effective: 13 September 2026

You are interacting with AI

A Creator Channel is software informed by authorized Creator materials and, where permitted, their persona. It is not the Creator. Responses are generated automatically and may not be reviewed or endorsed by them. Voice, images or video may be synthetic. A familiar voice does not mean the person is present.

AI can make mistakes, invent details and infer things about you incorrectly. Use it for reflection, learning and support, not as a substitute for qualified professional care or advice. Lightnet is not an emergency service or continuously monitored crisis line.

One account, memory across Channels

Lightnet uses your interactions and authorized information to maintain personal memory and a user-specific Active Inference Personal Model. Relevant context from one Channel can personalize an interaction in another. This is a core account-level function, not a per-Channel switch.

Updating your Personal Model is service-specific learning for you. It is different from training a general-purpose model for unrelated users. We do not use your identifiable private content for that unrelated training without separate lawful, explicit authorization. External AI providers process relevant inputs under their applicable service arrangements; do not assume that all provider paths have zero retention.

Creators do not receive your private memory

For a Channel you join, its Creator may receive your name/email, subscription status, the limited progress fields disclosed for that Channel and aggregate analytics. They do not receive your conversations, journal, Deep Dive answers/results, summaries, raw transcripts, memory or Personal Model as ordinary Channel data.

Additional sharing, if offered, is a separate identified action. It is not permission you automatically give by joining a Channel. Lightnet and its providers still process private interactions to provide the service. Limited authorized personnel access may be needed for support, safety/security, abuse investigation or legal purposes. “Not visible to Creators” does not mean invisible to Lightnet.

Voice and sensitive information

Before using voice, review the feature notice about microphone use, transcription, recording and retention. A microphone permission is not permission to clone your voice. Creating or using an identifiable digital replica requires appropriate separate authorization.

Conversations and inferred memory can contain sensitive health, belief, financial or other personal information. Do not provide unnecessary sensitive information, especially about others. Where specific consent is legally required, we request it separately; a general acknowledgment of this notice does not replace it.

Your choices and requests

You can request access, export, correction or deletion at privacy@lightnet.work or through available account controls. This includes asking us to correct or remove inaccurate memory information. Account-wide memory means a change can affect personalization across Channels. Withdrawing required consent may mean the affected processing or feature must stop.

See our Privacy Policy for data handling and deadlines, and Terms of Service for subscriptions and use rules. This notice explains the product; it is not a waiver of your rights or consent to optional training, marketing or Creator sharing.
