AI channels
LIGHTNET AI channels
An AI channel lets you work independently with an expert’s method. You choose the expert; the AI handles the conversation, using their approach, materials and practices alongside what you share about your life. You do not need to pay for one-to-one sessions to work this way.
Some people explain things in ways that help you understand yourself better and offer practices you want to try. I want you to be able to work with their approach every day: discuss what is on your mind now and get explanations that take your circumstances into account.
That is why I’m building LIGHTNET. The author creates a digital mind for their method, while your journal and memory help apply it to your life. The channel becomes a product the author can develop and offer by subscription.
From content to personal support
An expert can hold only as many one-to-one sessions as their schedule allows. Thousands can read a book; millions can watch a video. But the person in the video does not know what happened to you today or why you find it hard to apply their advice.
In a channel, you can explain what happened, discuss why an exercise did not suit you, ask for a different explanation or work through what is getting in the way. One method becomes the basis for working with different people and their circumstances.
I want you to recognize the perspective and way of working of the person you came for. And I want the author to be able to examine people’s experience of using the practices and develop their method.
The author’s digital mind
A digital mind brings together an author’s knowledge, perspective, values and practices so you can interact with them through AI. What matters is which questions this person asks, how they explain difficult things, what they suggest doing and when they advise seeking other help.
The author works on their digital mind in Studio: defines the method, checks answers, adds exercises and corrects anything that misrepresents their approach. You are talking with AI configured by the author, not exchanging personal messages with them.
Your journal and memory of your life
In your journal, you can describe a difficult conversation, note something you have noticed about yourself or write about how you felt after a practice. Over time, these entries form a picture of your life: important relationships and events, feelings, wishes and what you have already tried.
Memory brings that picture into the conversation: a similar situation has come up before, and the channel can draw on how it ended and what helped then. With that support, it is easier to notice recurring reactions and see changes that are hard to spot in a single day.
You decide what to share. The author is meant to receive analytics on how the method is used; your private entries are not automatically shared with them. The service terms explain the rules for accessing and processing your journal.
Working on yourself in everyday life
After a hard day, you may need to make sense of your feelings. Before an important conversation, you may need to work out what you want to say. While learning a practice, you may have a question that has only just come up. I want you to be able to turn to a channel at those moments and get help through the approach of someone you trust.
The work continues after an explanation or exercise. You can share what worked, what was difficult and what did not help at all. That informs whether it makes sense to repeat the practice or try something different.
We are developing a way for the channel to follow up on a suggested practice and help you make sense of the result, without waiting for you to ask.
A digital business of your own
I want people who know how to help others to be able to build a livelihood around it: start with a channel subscription and, over time, offer their own programmes, practices and personal consultations.
If you have developed a method, you get an app on your own domain. You invite your audience, configure the channel in Studio and develop it. Subscribers get access to your approach, and you can earn even when you are not holding a one-to-one session. Your earnings depend on whether people need your product and want to keep using it.
I take care of developing the technology: AI, memory, the app, updates and subscriptions. I help you learn Studio so you can run the channel yourself. You bring what people come to you for: your method, experience and relationship with your audience.
A channel in the LIGHTNET network
I’m building LIGHTNET as a network of people who want to help others. They bring different methods, experiences and views of life. The technology can make their work accessible to more people while helping them respond more closely to each person’s circumstances.
At different times in life, a person may need different approaches. We want to preserve personal memory when moving between channels so that, with your permission, a new channel can take your earlier history into account. That would let you explore a different method without having to tell your story from the beginning each time.
Channels work within their authors’ methods and expertise. They do not replace medical care, psychotherapy or emergency help.
